Service Description
First Aid CPR AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively on adults, children & infants. Based on the latest American Heart Association & American Red Cross Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Who should take this course? The First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency. NOTE: This course is not for healthcare professionals. If you work in healthcare, please find a Basic Life Saving (BLS) course. What does this course teach? First Aid CPR AED teaches the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and AED including: First aid basics Medical emergencies Injury emergencies Environmental emergencies Preventing illness and injury Adult, Child & Infant CPR and AED use Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant Drowning response and prevention Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies Class runs ~4.5 hours. Certifications are issued via email, after class completion. Instructor: Terri Reylek Classes start on time. The doors open 20 minutes before class and close at the start of the class. We have the right to turn anyone away for being late. Classes are booked in a rented space. If less than 3 customers are booked for any one class, you will be asked to reschedule.
